A  fabulous pair of late 20th century walnut and figured ash laminated plywood chairs signed to lower right hand side of seat in red “Ed Dawes”.  Ed retrained in furniture making at Rycotewood from 2001 to 2004, and then went on to work for two local companies before joining Andy Varah in 2009. Ed joined N.E.J. Stevenson as a cabinetmaker in September 2012.
