A large late Victorian mahogany “Jersey” wardrobe – the panel doors that open to reveal full length hanging. Stop-fluted detail either side of the panel doors and repeated to the squat tapered feet. The wardrobe completely dismantles down to individual panels enabling access to difficult areas of the house that assembled would be impossible to navigate. They were inspired by the French Armoire - the sides with their tenons to top and bottom that locate in to the mortice joints. The back is then screwed in place which keeps it all structurally sound.
